Rules and Regulations The contest is open to all nationals of APO members. Entrants may submit only photographs they have taken themselves. All photographs must be taken in APO member countries. There is a limit of three entries per person. There is no entry fee. Photographs submitted should be printed in color in regular cabinet size (12 cm X 16.5 cm). This also applies to photographs taken with digital cameras. Please note that the resolution of digital photos should be 5 million pixels or greater. Digital manipulation of images is not permitted. Photographs submitted should not have been published or entered in any other competition and must have been taken after 31 December 2006. Each photograph submitted should have a completed entry form attached to the back. All details requested must be provided or the entry will be disqualified. Photographs mounted on cardboard or panels will not be accepted. Submitted photographs will not be returned. The APO will not accept responsibility for entries lost or damaged during postal or courier transit. Winners must provide the originals (negatives, positives, slides, digital photo files) immediately after the contest. Digital photo files should be provided in either JPEG or TIFF format. Failure to supply the originals by the given date will result in the organizer canceling the prize. The entrants’ rights to the winning entries will be ceded to the APO, which will have the right to use the photos for public relations purposes without compensating the winners. The APO does not accept responsibility for any infringement of rights to reproduce or publish personal images, or other relevant rights, when photographic subjects are individuals. The APO reserves the right to revoke prizes if winners are found to have violated any of the competition rules.
